I've recently started two new classes (marketing and accounting) and could use help brainstorming concepts for the group projects.
Project 2: We have to develop an entirely new product and design a marketing plan for it. The product has to be something that is not yet available, but within the realm of possibility. We've come up with a lot of ideas, but they're either totally nuts or we wind up discovering that the product already exists. Is anyone out there trying to start a business or dreaming up concepts for new inventions?

Most skateboards don't have brakes. But brakes would be nice. I think there are some braking systems but they are all bulky and mechanical. My idea is a 'wireless' skateboard brake that would have a hand-held 'brake pedal' that would act sort of like a TV remote control to send signals to the brakes mounted on the wheels. The main problem would be with safety - making the wireless connection a lot more robust than the TV remote so you don't intermittantly lose the ability to brake, and making sure other people's garage door openers, cell phones and car radios aren't randomly applying your brakes without warning. *If you ever make any money on this I want half*
